Rock Music Illustrations
Metal question for real musicians?
I find often when asking things here that a lot of people don’t take the musical qualities of the singers they listen to (same things for guitar players, etc). Can anyone who really knows music, who has studied music, name a few good heavy metal, hard rock singers and tell us in technical terms why they are good? Many people think that sounding cool, is the same as being a good singer.
For example, I think Dave Mustaine sounds cool, but he is a terrible singer.
Also, if you want to name a few bad singers and why that would be great.
I’m asking this so we can have some illustration of the musical aspect of metal. Thanks.
