Music Upload Server
Problem getting into the server !?
Basically i live in a Student Dorm and we all share the same server for the internet .We also have a few guys who upload to the server like music,films and sitcoms.I have trouble gettin into their shared folders.I use Vista Home Premium and have enabled the settings for finding shared folders and sharing with others. my laptop is set to name of WORKGROUP . Can anyone help ? ? ?
You will have to check this with the guys that manage the server.
Ask them for Workgroup name on the network( and replace it with WORKGROUP), also ask them for the network IP addresses and type them manually (not sure if u can on Vista, but u should be able)
