minoring in music at UCI?
What are requirements for this? do I have to play an instrument or is there a way that i can choose to stay with just electronic music production?
You have to have knowledge on different instruments(basic must).
Even if you chose electro you still must have the basic knowledge which means
you must be able to play at least four instruments(keyboard/piano, guitar, flute, drum).
