How can I map out my life because i am multi-talented/gifted?

How do you create a life if you’re good at many things?
I just wanna know what a person can do if there are many things she can do well or potentially do. How can she mold her time, her life, and even choose a definite career? Or is there some way she can be all things? Please imagine and answer…I really need them badly. My intelligence is such that I can choose any subject matter and do it and I have many interests spanning the arts and social sciences, as well as science and maths. I’ve decided my fortes are visual art (painting and possibly sculpture), voice (music), psychology and philosophy (which also encompasses social issues). I have a keen mind for mathematics and sciences, and I am currently studying an applied science. Do you have any suggestions on how to handle this? I definitely am going to get a job in this applied science, but I couldn’t possibly be happy putting my arts on hold for so long. I mean, I do voice because it is portable, but visual arts is on hold

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do what makes you happy. I know exactly how you feel! I started at college and had no clue what I wanted to do. I honestly could have probably picked almost any major and done well in it, because of the nature of who I am. I am not trying to be conceited, just honest. What did I end up doing? I’ve just about graduated with a physics degree. I wish I had done an engineering degree, but I figure physics is close enough to get the same jobs anyways, and didn’t figure out early enough what I actually enjoy. Looking back, I really wish I had figured out what made me happier earlier on. So my answer to you is look around, check out your life and what you really enjoy. Obviously you’ll be successful in whatever you do, so money probably won’t ever be an issue in any field, so don’t led that cloud your mind. Money won’t matter if you’re happy anyways. You can also eliminate career ideas with things you don’t like. Every choice eliminated is one less option, narrowing your field. That’s what I’ve been doing when people ask me what I plan on doing. I don’t know necessarily what I like for my job options, but I do know several things I don’t like, and that has enabled me to start looking seriously into the ones I do. And I figure I’ll be happy with most of them, so then I’ve started looking at other things, like what a company’s philosophies are, if they are environmentally conscious or whatnot. If I can be happy and successful in 20 different jobs, then I’ve got to find the one that I think I will fit in at best, and that fits my personal philosophies best. Then start looking for other related things, like whether a field’s job opportunities are in the same geographic areas as my hobbies. If I like to hike, then there’s got to be nice natural places nearby. If I like the arts, then there has to be a theatre, art studios, or concert halls nearby. Start looking at all the little things you enjoy, and what fields can include the most of them. The other thing you could do is try some of those personality/career profile tests. I actually found them to be pretty accurate in my case, although probably later in the game than I should have taken them. Anyways, best of luck with whatever you end up doing – I hope it leads you to a fulfilled life.
