Where can I purchase actual original music CD covers/inserts (NOT the downloaded type)?

I’m referring to actual CD covers and inserts, NOT the type where you go download and print out covers. I ask because I have a few Beatles CDs and the covers were damaged by water. I’d rather not have to purchase the entire CD just to replace the covers. I’m wondering if there’s a place that specializes in or even sells original covers without the CD. Thanks.

Gah!! I was going to write something cheeky about going to your local record store, where they have plenty, all of which come with a FREE jewel case and CD… But then I read the rest of the question…

I would think it extremely unlikely that such a store would exist legitimately, the music industry would doubtless ( and almost certainly rightly ) see it as too much of an encouragement to bootleggers and folk who make copies for their mates. Plus it adds consumer protection, if you buy a CD with an official, nice glossy cover, you’re pretty certain that when you open it up you’ll get the real McCoy inside, not just some random dodgy brand of cdr that’s been copied “on the fly” at 64* recording speed, if the covers were readily available then you’d never be certain of that again.

Ah well, at least the cover of “the White album” is easy enough to replace..
